Margaret A. Furlong, BSN, RN, graduated from Long Island University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. After graduating, she spent her hospital-based nursing career working in critical care and the emergency department. She eventually moved to home care in 1994. Through an acquisition, Ms. Furlong began her career at Premier Home Health Care Services, Inc. in December 2007. During that time, she has held a variety of positons at Premier, ranging from Director of Patient Services to her current role as the Vice President of Clinical Services. In her current position, Ms. Furlong works closely with the clinical team to ensure the delivery of high quality, culturally sensitive health care services to patients in their homes. Ms. Furlong also provides oversight and assists with the development of disease-specific training and curriculums, along with the facilitating of improved client care, operations and services.
